The Billabong Absolute Core Boys 4/3mm is a wetsuit designed for young surfers between 8 and 16 years old who need thermal protection, comfort, and freedom of movement during their sessions in cold water.
With a thickness of 4/3 mm, this full‑length, long‑sleeve suit offers good insulation against the cold, while its stretchy materials allow you to paddle and surf in comfort. Its construction combines recycled fabrics, an ultralight foam, and GBS seams to achieve a lightweight, flexible, and durable suit.
Ultralight foam and recycled fabrics
The Absolute Core features a partially recycled ultralight foam, which helps reduce the weight of the suit and makes it easier to move in the water.
The exterior is made with Recycler Stretch, a fabric that uses recycled fibers and provides the elasticity needed to follow the young surfer’s movements.
On the inside, the recycled silicone stretch lining provides a comfortable, flexible feel throughout the session.
Chest zip for a comfortable fit
The chest‑zip entry system makes the suit easier to put on and offers a comfortable, secure fit.
This design also helps maintain good freedom of movement in the shoulder and back area, which is especially important for paddling and maneuvers.
GBS seams to retain warmth
The outer seams are made with GBS (Glued Blind Stitched) technology, meaning they are glued, stitched, and blind‑sewn. This construction helps limit water entry and improves thermal insulation.
On the inside, the Melco tape reinforcements at critical points increase durability in the areas under the greatest stress, helping to extend the life of the suit.
The use of Aqua Alpha, a water‑based adhesive, allows for more responsible manufacturing.
